After yesterday's Senate hearing, it is clear that someone is going to prison. It just won't be Donald Trump.
In yesterday's testimony, Comey admitted that President Trump was never under investigation and that Trump never ordered him to drop the Russia investigation. But Comey did admit to being involved in a number of crimes.
Comey admitted to releasing FBI documents - his alleged "memos" - to the New York Times. He admitted to playing with the classification level in order to make it easier to leak. Even though he claimed that they were his own documents, they were created using an FBI computer, in an FBI car, on FBI time. The fact that the FBI is refusing to hand them over to Congress proves that they are government documents. According to 18 USC 641, it is against the law for any government employee to give away "any record, voucher, money, or thing of value of the United States or of any department or agency thereof." James Comey broke the law.
This morning, news broke that President Trump will request that the Department of Justice fully investigate what James Comey just admitted to. But that is just the tip of the iceberg!
The bigger bombshell is what James Comey admitted regarding the Clinton email investigation.
Comey testified that the Obama administration - specifically Attorney General Loretta Lynch - instructed him to put his hand on the scale and adopt Clinton campaign talking points when discussing the Clinton email investigation.
As you remember, the Clinton campaign tried desperately to convince voters that Hillary was not under investigation. Instead, they referred to the investigation as a "inquiry" or a "matter." Comey admitted that Lynch met with him privately and told him to stop calling the investigation an "investigation." Instead, she ordered him to start calling it a "matter."
Comey told the Senate yesterday that this made him uncomfortable, but the fact of the matter is that he obeyed the Obama administration's orders. Just days after receiving his orders, Comey answered questions from reporters and when asked about the Clinton investigation's funding, Comey told them on the record that he was "confident we have the resources and the personnel assigned to the matter."
The only evidence of collusion that Comey admitted was the collusion between the Clinton campaign and the Obama administration. Even though Comey recognized this collusion and obstruction, he participated in it anyway.
By Comey's own testimony, he believes that the Clintons were coordinating with Loretta Lynch. Except instead of blowing the whistle on them, he obeyed their orders.
We learned on Thursday that President Trump is not, and never was, under investigation. But the truth has finally come out about the Clintons and the Obama administration. They broke the law and James Comey did as well!
We learned yesterday everything that we had feared. The Obama administration was actively working with the Clinton campaign to obstruct the email investigation. Loretta Lynch was working for the Clinton campaign, not the American people.
Someone is going to prison. But it's not going to be Donald Trump.
The Democrats are freaking out. Overnight, all of their narratives have been dismantled. President Trump is not under investigation for colluding with the Russians and he did not try to obstruct the FBI's investigation.
Yet, the testimony that the Left demanded has now re-opened the door into the crimes committed by the Clintons and the Obama administration.
The Democrats demanded an obstruction of justice investigation and now they're going to get it... only it will be against Hillary Clinton and Loretta Lynch!
This is not what they expected. Democrats are scrambling to sweep this all under the rug. Don't let that happen!
President Trump is handling Comey and the leaks. Only Congress can deal with the Clinton/Obama bombshells we just learned and it is up to YOU to demand prosecution!
