South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham (R) made waves last week when he demanded a new investigation into Hillary Clinton and her alleged collusion with the Obama administration. After former-FBI Director James Comey testified that he saw evidence suggesting collusion between the Clinton Campaign and the Obama Justice Department, Graham called for a new investigation.
Make no mistake, Lindsey Graham is hardly a conservative. The fact that he was demanding a new Clinton investigation showed that all Congressional Republicans were in play for our FaxBlasting campaign. Over the past two weeks, we sent over 215,000 FaxBlasts to Congress demanding that the Clinton investigation be re-opened. That was all because of you and your activism.
But now we know that your activism is working on both sides of the aisle. This weekend, California Senator Diane Feinstein called for a new investigation into alleged collusion between the Obama administration and Clinton campaign over the FBI's email investigation.
"I think we need to know more about that," Feinstein said on CNN, "and there's only one way to know about it and that's to have the Judiciary Committee take a look at that."
I spit out my coffee when I watched this over the weekend. A Democrat Congressional leader is calling for an investigation into both the Clinton campaign and Obama administration.
President Trump and his team are not letting this go unnoticed. They are now demanding that the Democrats put country over party and support this new investigation, but they need your help!
First thing this morning, Kellyanne Conway was on Fox News using Feinstein's statements to pressure Congress into launching a full investigation. She called Feinstein's comments "refreshing" and hoped that other Democrats would follow her lead.
But that isn't going to happen on its own. If you're expecting Democrats to all of a sudden grow a conscience, you will be disappointed. The only thing they care about is winning re-election. If Diane Feinstein - a liberal Senator from California - is willing to demand a new Hillary Clinton investigation, then the ten Senate Democrats up for re-election next year in states that Trump won will be easy targets.
They're not going to listen to President Trump and they certainly won't listen to their Republican colleagues. But they will listen to YOU.
