The House Judiciary’s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government Committee has revealed that the U.S. government is funding Artificial Intelligence (AI) censorship technology through the National Science Foundation (NSF). This AI is intended to be distributed to Big Tech platforms to censor public debate on political issues and government policies. Such action would effectively blacklist all voices critical of the U.S. Government, further eroding our First Amendment rights, as granted by our Constitution. Congress must intervene immediately! The development of this AI technology undermines our First Amendment rights and is therefore unconstitutional. We must halt any and all technologies that infringe upon our liberties!

The NSF has been issuing multi-million-dollar grants to university and non-profit research teams for the purpose of developing artificial intelligence (AI)-powered censorship and propaganda tools. These tools can be used by governments and Big Tech to shape public opinion by restricting certain viewpoints or promoting others. The development of this technology was initiated in response to the need for "combating misinformation regarding COVID-19 and the 2020 election." 

The NSF is distributing grants to institutions such as the University of Michigan, the University of Washington, the University of Wisconsin, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the non-profit Meedan to develop public censorship tools like WiseDex, Course Correct, SearchLit, and Co-Insights. These tools are or were intended to be used by Big Tech firms such as Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, and Twitter (now X), among others. Our freedom of speech should never be censored, STOP these AI tools! 

These AI tools claim to combat "misinformation," which includes questioning the validity of the 2020 elections and other election integrity issues, the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccines, January 6th events, questioning the NSF's AI censorship, and expressing criticism towards the United States government and its policies. All voices expressing dissent towards these AI tools will be blacklisted, and any discussion on the aforementioned topics will be censored and labeled as disinformation. 

The NSF's censorship initiative is nothing short of a betrayal to the American people and a complete undermining of our First Amendment rights. This is unconstitutional. We, the people, should not have our voices suppressed under the guise of misinformation. We should not be censored, and we should be able to freely express our criticisms of the United States government and question the policies that affect us. Congress must cease all funding to the NSF and halt the development of AI-powered censorship and propaganda immediately! Defend our rights and liberties, end this tyranny.
