Barack Obama leaves office in 10 days. He will shake hands with President Trump and walk across the White House lawn the helicopter and when he gets onboard, it will no longer have the designation of Marine 1 because Obama will no longer be President.
But before that happens, Obama has something else up his sleeve.
Donald Trump campaigned on a promise to tear up the Iran nuclear agreement and force the Iranians back to the negotiating table.
In his final days as President, Barack Obama has approved a shipment of 130+ tons of uranium to Iran, the same kind of material that can be enriched and used to create nuclear weapons!
Obama’s logic is simple: if he can dump over a hundred tons of Uranium into Iran, he hopes that Trump will refrain from ripping up the agreement because otherwise, the Iranians would have all the tools necessary to build a bomb.
That’s the goal. He is trying to pressure Trump into keeping the deal.
Obviously, that is a non-starter. To keep the Iranian nuclear deal – an agreement that the Obama administration never even forced the Iranians to technically sign – would guarantee that American forces and our allies find themselves inside an Iran’s nuclear crosshairs by the end of the decade.
Remember the $1.7 billion of cash that the Obama administration gave to Iran in 2016? Well, the Iranians just disclosed that President Obama actually gave them in excess of $10 billion in gold, cash, and assets over the last four years. Wow...
This is insane. Not only has Barack Obama given Iran billions of dollars, but now they have all the nuclear fuel necessary to supply a nuclear weapons program.
When asked to expand on this $10 billion number, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi disclosed that it is actually a “stingy” estimate because when the cash, gold, and assets were sent by Washington to Iran’s central bank, they were promptly spent. So even that is a low estimate.
So, Iran has the money… they have the nuclear materials… and we all know they have the intent to build a nuclear weapon. Barack Obama made all of this possible.
It’s time to shut it down.
A number of Congressmen and Senators are working on rolling this horrible nuclear agreement back. Under Obama, this has been impossible.
But as you can see today, the Senate is already holding hearings on Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees. The Obama era’s end is fast approaching.
The time to push this legislation is now!
