Biden’s sweeping gun control measures are unlikely to pass the Senate so the Democrats have crafted an insidious backup plan to strip Americans of their right to bear arms.

Democrats want to enact massive taxes on the purchase of assault rifles and magazines. This is a direct attack on our Constitution and a complete subversion of Democracy.

Representative Donald Beyer, a Virginia Democrat, is seeking to introduce a 1,000 percent tax on assault weapons through a reconciliation process that would not require any Republican votes.

The tax will apply to “assault rifles”, a vague definition at best, which the Democrats will eventually apply towards all firearms. The proposal also calls for aggressive targeting of all magazines that hold over 10 rounds.

Democrats think they can act with impunity and disregard our Constitution. Every politician attempting to tax the 2nd Amendment into oblivion must be removed this November.

The Democrats will use this process to escape a Senate Filibuster and push their agenda into law. We must act now to stop them!
